The Patron Saint
of Pop Culture
FINALIST: 2021 IMBD SHORT AWARDS BEST DOCUMENTARY
OFFICIAL SELECTION: SARASOTA FILM FESTIVAL (2021)
DIRECTORS: TAYLOUR MARKS & CANDACE WILLIAMSON
Our story began three years ago when we met Cam on the side of the road, painting a mural of pop icon Lizzo, and asked if we could film him. After that chance encounter, we followed Cam on social media and watched as his artwork began appearing alongside some of the biggest names in music, film, and comedy. Two years later, we set out to capture Cam’s unique process and understand what made so many of our favorite celebrities fall in love with his artwork. What we uncovered was a one-in-a-million personality: Cam lives, drinks, and breathes pop culture. His indulgence in the worlds of fantasy, fun, and Dolly Parton shows us all how glamorous life can be if we let ourselves go.

In between Us
Directors: CANDACE WILLIAMSON & TAYLOUR MARKS
From filmmakers Candace Williamson and Taylour Marks, In Between Us is an intimate portrait of black motherhood, a deeply flawed system, and the complicated beauty of life in this documentary film. The story was born from the alarming statistic that black women are three to four times more likely to experience pregnancy-related mortality than white women in America. If it’s not about money, education, or pre-existing conditions, then why are black mothers and babies still dying?
Articulate emotions
TOP 16 FINALIST: CAMPUS MOVIE FESTIVAL - UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA (2019)
DIRECTOR: TAYLOUR MARKS
This short film follows 13-year-old artist Brinn Marks, who at the time went by Jadyn, as she explores the role that art and drawing play in navigating mental health struggles.
For Brinn, drawing became more than a creative outlet. It became a place to process, escape, and make sense of a world that could sometimes feel overwhelming. Through quiet moments of creativity and reflection, the film offers a glimpse into the comfort and freedom that can be found in making art.

Voiceless Victims
DIRECTOR: TAYLOUR MARKS
For every person incarcerated, countless loved ones are left to navigate the emotional, financial, and personal costs of incarceration from the outside. Voiceless Victims is a two-part documentary series following Kim Lawrance and Jennifer Nappi as they fight to support the people they love while confronting the grief, stigma, financial strain, and isolation that come with having a loved one behind bars.
Through their stories, the series explores the often-overlooked impact of incarceration on families and the strength it takes to remain connected through the years, reminding us that when one person is sentenced, their loved ones are serving a sentence of their own.
